Today I'm thinking of those who've gone before me, the many intercessors in the valley who've prayed for a House of Prayer in the Fresno area. I remember 12 years ago when I heard of IHOP in Kansas City, how I wished we had one in Fresno. I remember conversatoins of years past of those who thought of starting one in Fresno, yet it wasn't time.

Then in 2006 in my visit at IHOP, the Lord placed it strongly on my heart to being to pray for one in Fresno, and at the time, never imagining I would be the one to help get it going. It was just a great idea for someone else to do. (I won't go into that story as you can read about it on our fresnohope website).

So this vision was conceived in me in the Fall of 2006 and birthed in 2007.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Although it is often a time to reflect on the past year and all God has done we are excited about the NEW year of 2012. We are believing for breakthrough for many and moving into new territories. Occupying the land (mountains) of influence with HIS Holy Presence, loving HIM and loving others.

We anticipate and are praying for the following in 2012:

Start Day 2 hours prayer, praise, prophetic proclaimation and worship sets in our new location. (see tentative schedule on Fresno HOPE website).
Release of prayer and worship leaders and teams for these sets.
Start Fresno H.O.P.E.

New Logo

Notice our new logo, the fire of worship and prayer is burning in the House of Prayer. The other buildings represent the other 6 mountains of influence. Thanks to a few young artist who drew the first drawing and then Belinda McDanel who made it on the computer.

Fall Newsletter

FRESNO H.O.P.E.(www.fresnohope.net)

The first ‘New’ thing we are celebrating this Jewish New Year (5772) is the new location for our gatherings; Thanks to First Covenant church, we are now across from CSU Fresno using their facility. We’ve changed from monthly citywide prayer to weekly Harp and Bowl on Friday nights. We hope to:

Ø Restart focused intercession sets in the day. (See schedule on website). As leaders or groups step in to lead these we will start.

Ø Continue to build Missional community with the Leadership team and others called to be a part of this House of Prayer. Continue small groups for times of fellowship and encouragement.

Ø Continue prayer on campuses and help Christian clubs with establishing 24/7 prayer and united worship/prayer assemblies. CSU Fresno Christian clubs just had their first worship/prayer assembly on Oct. 14^th.

5771 coming to an end..Thanksgiving

For years I've followed the Jewish calendar, it has just made sense especially being in the education field with school starting in the Fall. I also have experienced significant events in my life in the Fall.

So as I reflect on the past year and review my journal, I'm reminded of all God has promised and said. Last year around this time, I heard a message about 'watch' what shatters, and in the same week my daughters clock shattered, the Lord told me Time was going to be a little different this year. Then in March, an incident happened with my watch (I blogged about it) and the Lord reminded me He was setting my seasons and time..and so He has.

Marketplace Miracles and HOPS

So often when hear about miracles we think about 'healings', but the word states one of the gifts of the Spirit are signs and wonders..miracles.

Miracles. I love hearing about marketplace miracles..where the seemingly impossible becomes a REALITY. Marketplace miracles are like the multiplication of loaves and fish and finding a coin in the fishes mouth to pay taxes.

So please allow me to share a testimony of one.

7M Network gathering

I mentioned earlier I would explain about the 7 M network gatherings. What are these gatherings? They are basically a time for marketplace ministers (women for now) to build relationship, hear marketplace miracle testimonies, encourage and pray for one another.

It was October 2004 while I was at Wagner Leadership Institute the Lord spoke to me about gathering marketplace ministers (like myself). At the time, I was a principal of a school and really had no idea how or when this gathering was going to happen. I was at WLI taking a weeklong series of classes on marketplace ministry.

Here is latest testimony from a young lady (16) who received prayer at the healing room. We will be posting these testimonies on the Fresno H.O.P.E. webstie (healing/outreach) page.

Emily was born with a rare form of Myscular Dystrophy. By the time she was 15 she had used a wheel chair half of her life and had had 10 surgeries.
