Merry Christmas and Happy New YEAR! (update)
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Although it is often a time to reflect on the past year and all God has done we are excited about the NEW year of 2012. We are believing for breakthrough for many and moving into new territories. Occupying the land (mountains) of influence with HIS Holy Presence, loving HIM and loving others. FRESNO H.O.P.E.
We are also very excited and preparing for the NEW day prayer sets for Fresno H.O.P.E. Often people will ask if we are like IHOP (International House of Prayer) in Kansas City. And I say a little, meaning we are like them and many others HOPS, with the desire to raise up Worship and Prayer in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David (Amos 9:11). I recently shared with many other CA HOP leaders about Fresno House of Prayer and they were very excited about how this H.O.P.E will look. I say 'will', because we are building slowly, and God's timing often is not ours, I can't say exaclty when these things will happen. Here is what many other HOPS are doing and we are NOT:
- The name, most are called HOP's..we are not...Formally/legally the ministry is 7MWIN. Because 7MWIN has different components/ministries (I.e. school, network etc.), we refer to this prayer center aspect of 7mwin as Fresno H.O.P.E.
- Not-24/7- Our initial desired schedule is to be M-F 8am-6 pm; this depends on volunteer staff.
- NOT full time intercessory missionaries (where staff raises support, although we are not opposed to this, no one has desired to do this); We desire to have volunteer leaders, interns, and/or what some call tentmakers, however we would at some point in time like to financially bless them.
- As many HOPS send out support letters we do not, we are hoping businesses will help support this ministry and that we will have our own business eventually that can also financially support us. Whereas most Directors or pastors of HOPS or churches are paid, this one is not.
- NOT a group of people from 'one' stream/denomination leading prayer/worship sets..now this is what is very different than most; We want to have teams from different churches, youth groups, student clubs, come in and lead worship/prayer sets. At first I thought this would be impossible, as often the spirit of religion and territorialism gets in the way; but after attending many assemblies where many groups participate I know it can be done. The worship/prayer sets are not about preaching, but to WORSHIP IN spirit and truth, keeping it pure.
- Some other HOP's are connected or 'under' the ministry of a specific local church. We are not, Because we are an apostolic regional ministry, we have relationship with many churches, and other pastors, teachers, in the valley that serve on our leadership team. We are our own entity 7MWIN and we are under/connected with an apostolic ministry (H.I.M.).
- We do have similarity with other HOP's, in that we will have different types of worship and prayer, and we will require training and we adhere to the statement of beliefs.
Having said all fo this we anticipate and are praying for the following in 2012:
- Start Day 2 hours prayer, praise, prophetic proclaimation and worship sets in our new location. (see tentative schedule on Fresno HOPE website).
- Release of prayer and worship leaders and teams for these sets.
- Have times of webstreaming conferences from other ministries- starting with ONE THING conference from IHOP in Kansas City on Dec. 29-31st.
- Continue to help student clubs with prayer outreach/assemblies.
- Continue to meet with other prayer and apostolic ministries in the state and nation for prayer and growing in relationships.
- Increase income/revenue/resources to do all God has called us to and to bless our host facility. Some of our revenue comes through the 7M schools. So we are praying for more oportunties with teaching.
- Breakthrough for many on our team looking for employment. Open doors for the Directors personal business of OPEN DOORS consulting & coaching.
