March Update–As I celebrated my birthday on March 4th, I heard these words once again
“Continue to MARCH FORTH”
Fresno H.O.P.E (Houses of Prayer Everywhere): The Lord opens doors
and we hear reports of answered prayer.
- We continue to pray for revival and reformation at CSUF (Friday
afternoons) and FCC (Tuesday afternoons), and we are now going to FPU as well.I was excited to get a call from a H.S. student who wants us to meet with a group teaching them about prayer and I'm hoping establishing prayer group on campus.
- Prayer Conference Calls weekly with the Regional Sacred Assembly team, preparing for the May 22nd
gathering at Peoples Church, Ground Zero. Two days ago I received a phone call from
an intercessor in DC who I haven’t talked to since last year. He had no idea what we’re doing with RSA
and he told me, ”Marta, the Lord is raising up Sacred Assemblies across
the nation and His FIRE being poured out.” I had to smile as I heard this because
we’re preparing to have RSA’s along with looking for a location to open a
FIREHOUSE of worship/prayer (24/7) in Fresno. If you’d like to keep updated for RSA,

- We are also preparing to open two new locations for prayer ministry. I’ll tell you about that next month.
CCC—Community, Compassion and
Celebration: “EKKLESIA”
- Community – It has been a
wonderful time as we gather monthly in small groups, either watching a DVD teaching
series, praying or eating together. When I returned home from the ‘Mission’
church in Vacaville and read their pastor David Crone’s book ‘Decisions
that Define Us,’ my heart cried out to see similar fellowships like this
in our valley—where relationship, and calling out destiny is valued, and where
presence over program is primary. I
will be writing more about this on the blog.
- Celebration—See Fresno FIRE blog entry.
- Compassion/Justice—Many of
our intercessors are involved in various ministries. One just got back from a Bound 4LIFE conference
in Atlanta, and a few meet for prayer at Pregnancy Care Center.
Networks:
- We had a wonderful time of
sharing with the CV Prayer Roundtable. Please read what I wrote about it a
recent 7MWIN blog.
- I also network with other
ministries in the valley such as Citybuilders, Pray Central Valley and
pastor clusters.
- Statewide—We posted a new Central
Valley prayer initiative under www.transformourworld.org-adopt a
street initiative. If you pray for
your street you can post that street on this website and then click on
San Joaquin Valley Prayer. This is not
about any one ministry, but about covering the streets of California with
prayer.
7 Mountain Schools:
- 7 Mountain Leadership
Institute: The
Lady Leaders group (young ladies 20-35) meets almost weekly to learn about
leadership. We just completed a short study about Apostles, Prophets,
Teachers, Pastors, Evangelism (five- fold Kingdom government). Next course: Knowing your Destiny. (Courses are four weeks long.)
- 7 Mountain School of Ministry: I’ve been sharing curriculum with church leaders to incorporate in their schools of ministry. I am also open to teach at your church or youth group.
