Father, Son, Holy Spirit
I just loved it when I viewed on webstream last Fall, three ministries coming together at International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas city. They were Bill Johnson from Bethel church in Redding, Mike Bickle, leader of IHOP and John Arnott from Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. Although each of these ministries have many wonderful anointings , each carry a strong focused message. These messages are: The Fathers Love, where lives have been touched and inner healing has occured; the intimacy of Jesus and Bridal paradigm (prayer) and the power of the Holy Spirit where signs and wonders have increasingly manifested. I’ve been thinking about this gathering for some time, and I realized I have experienced all of these messages through different streams (ministries). I have been touched by the Fathers love, and I so want to see others encounter God’s love whether it be on the street or in the church, where they are touched and healed. I’ve seen and experienced the manifestation of gifts of H.S. and I would love to see more of the Body of Christ move in this. And of course, to see others have an intimate relationship with the Godhead…through prayer. Prayer is to be a lifestyle, not an event. I equate intimacy with God and prayer as one and the same. I have also been blessed to be at all of these ministries. I went to Toronto in 1996 during the ‘renewal movement’ to serve on a prayer team. I went to IHOP in 2006 and 2008 for a leadership retreat and conference, and I’ve been blessed to attend a few events at Bethel and I listen to many of these apostolic leaders messages.
I pray, in Fresno, the
central valley, that we become one as God is one…may we experience the Love of
the Father, the intimacy of Jesus and the power and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
